Yahoo Photos Closing! Which Is The Best Alternative Site To Transfer Photos To?
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/photos/photos3/closing/
i just read the FAQ regarding Yahoo Photos closing down this fall…several alternative sites were listed to transfer our photos to..I have ALOT of photos in my albums meant to be shared with other 360 users…are any of the other sites going to be visible on our page? I know Flicker is right now, but will it remain on our page? Is Flicker the only site we can use to have our photos accessed from our 360 page? Even if you don't know the answer, could you at least tell me which site you would recommend as the best? Here are the choices:Flickr, Kodak Gallery, Shutterfly, Snapfish, and Photobucket
(I currently use Photobucket for blog pics because its very user friendly..but ultimately i need to transfer my albums to whichever one is going to show on our page ![]()
Thank You!

Flickr is owned by Yahoo, and I use it. It would also be the best to link to for your 360 page.

Photobucket is fine and very popular. Your other alternatives in terms of 360 are Kodak Gallery, Shutterfly, Snapfish, and of course, Flickr (which is owned by Yahoo). Those are the services mentioned by Yahoo that they are partnered with to make the switch. I believe that means they can guarantee functionality with 360. While it doesn't mean that other photo services won't work, but this is their official recommendation.
Kodak Gallery has a large free storage, I heard, so those with lots of pictures may want to look around at the differences between services first.

I've used Picasa Web Album by Google and Flickr by yahoo. To me Picasa is best as u can install the software on your computer and easly transfer the photos, best way to organize your photos on the computer too..
