What can I do with this Picasa problem?

Question by Aoiffe337:

I like the features of Picasa soo I have kept it. Some of my other editing programs freeze up (not responding) at the most critical time. The problem with Picasa is that every time I open it, it loads photos- even the ones that already exist in files. My computer said it was running out of memory so i deleted a lot of photos. I opened Picasa to edit some photos- especially straighten those by the sea; and now I have 0 mbs. the phots I edited failed to print and i do not know where they are. I edited them to send via email and had to save unedited ones to a jump drive. Should I get rid of Picasa? What will happen to the photos I saved there? Also, one time i found a program that did fisheye lens view of photos and other thing. The technician cleaned it off. Where can I get a decent photo program?

This one is really good fun, you can make a slide show with full personalized settings, make pictures, spin, zoom in or out with personal timing.
