When you think of digital cameras, Panasonic is probably not the first brand that comes to mind. But Panasonic is a major contender, and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50-K is a popular 7 megapixel digital camera. The camera's slick case and sharp images make it a favorite for point-and-shooters. A rectangular patch on the camera's front side doubles as a grip for better control. The Lumix also comes with the standard wrist strap to keep the camera from tumbling and breaking.

Question by Akmayeli:
My boyfriend is an amateur photographer and has been wanting to venture in the astrophotography world. Here's the problem; I am clueless to this kind of stuff but I was planning on getting him a telescope for Christmas. He has a really nice SLR Canon to shoot the pics with so I am guessing all he needs is the telescope, right? I can't ask him about this because I want the present to be a total surprise. So, will ANY telescope work with this or do I need to get a special telescope to take pictures through? I saw a really nice automatic Meade telescope that I was thinking of getting but not too sure if it will work. Do I need to buy a special kind of telescope to attach the camera too? Any advice will be greatly apprecciated. I feel like an idiot, but I know nothing about photography.

Good portrait photography is an art and portrait photography is a science. In portrait photography, you need to understand the fine art of capturing the human image and all the subtleties involved. And in portrait photography, you need to have the technical expertise required to get the lighting just right and set the camera controls just right to get the proper image. Of course there has been a lot of bad portrait photography done in supermarkets and schools which disregarded all of these axioms of good portrait photography and people have willingly shelled out good money for this bad portrait photography so who knows what is right and what is wrong?

There are easy ways and hard ways to take digital photographs underwater.
You can take a submarine trip, and take pictures through the windows. Just hope that they're not dirty enough to wreck your photos.
Still, this is probably the easiest way. After all, you don't need any special equipment. You don't even have to get wet! You just buy a ticket, take your pictures, and you're done. You could end up with good photos. Stranger things have happened.
But if you're interested in having more control over the quality of your shots, you'll probably want to enter the water yourself.
