How Can You Print Your Digital Photos

You have several options for printing your digital photos. You can do it yourself or have professionals print them for you.

Drop off a disk at Walmart and return for it later. They'll print up beautiful photos, and you don't have to worry about bad prints that you have to throw away. You only give them your best stuff to print.

Just be careful they're not too good. See this Slashdot story: http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/06/17/1720239. Apparently, some people took photos that were so good the developers wouldn't print them. They've been sued before for printing professional photographers' work without permission, and didn't want to take any chances.

You print your own photos by buying using almost any inkjet printer and photo paper. Photo paper is expensive, but the finished result will look like the photos we're all used to. You can also print your pictures on regular computer paper, but that looks kind of cheesy. It's too thin and usually not glossy.

You could just try printing them on a heavier stock of paper. It wouldn't be as glossy, but it might be good enough for you. It depends what you want to do with the photos.

You might have problems printing your photos. The colors may not look right. There are workarounds. Just search Google for your printer and editing program. People have probably figured out how to tweak the photos to get them to print well. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.
