“Animated Still Life†Do you have any ideas for what I should do for this??
Search for a still life that you will recreate using 3DMax. This scene should be indoors and must consist of at least 3 objects in addition to the camera, lighting and environment on which the objects rest. You will be required to simulate, as photorealistic as possible, the lighting, camera angle, textures and objects themselves. Just because the words still life are used, does not mean it has to be fruit in a bowl or some table setting, it could be a bike sitting against a wall with located in a garage lit with dim lights that only define the bike, wall and possibly a ball. Animation should be at least 3 seconds, but shouldn’t exceed 10 seconds.
{02} the prep.
Once you find a still life you would like to recreate it is time to decide how to fit in some animation. You will have to animate part of the still life. The animation could be a something within you scene moving or it could be the camera itself flying through the scene to show different camera angle..
Prep also involves a storyboard telling how you intend to animate the scene (i.e. camera angles, position of objects within the scene, etc.).
{03} the approval process.
Once you have done the search and prep you must have approval by the instructor to make sure the intended work will fulfill the criteria of the project as well as be realistic to complete in the time allotted.
{04} the production.
Once you have the instructor’s approval, you may start production. You will be graded on authentication. What is meant by this is, is the instructor can give guidance, but can not do the work for you.

KYRA @ 6:56 am:
How about some toddler's toys lying around the floor, in the background the sleeping kid in his kid's bed, his body rising falling slightly with each breath he takes. A fly flies into the scene. Sits on one of the toys, then buzzes off as fast as it came.
